I count visits to know which posts are read. That’s it.
What’s counted
Page views, broken down by country, device type, and language version. All anonymous, all on my own server. A different marker is used each day — yesterday’s reader and today’s reader look unrelated to me.
How to opt out
Turn on “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” in your browser. Firefox and Brave have this built-in; most privacy extensions support it too. When my server sees the signal, it records nothing.
Or block a.pmslava.com in any ad blocker.
